On the morning of December 18, 2024, at the Tradition Room, 97 Vo Van Tan campus, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Citizen Bank (NCB).

Participants in the event included Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang, Vice Rector from Ho Chi Minh City Open University, along with the leadership and faculty of the Faculty of Finance – Banking. From National Citizen Bank (NCB): Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoi – Deputy General Director in charge of the Southern region; Mr. Pham Trung Kien is the director of the Saigon branch; Mr. Vu Trong Anh is the director of business development in the retail banking division; Mr. Ho Sy Nhat Tan is the senior HR partner in the human resource management division.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, shared: "In an increasingly competitive labor market, equipping students with strong professional knowledge and practical skills is a key factor for their success and career development. According to the agreement, National Citizen Bank (NCB) commits to providing students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University with internship opportunities in various positions, offering them practical work experience and career opportunities in the Finance – Banking sector. Additionally, both parties will organize networking events, specialized seminars, and other support programs to enhance students' professional skills and practical knowledge.

Furthermore, the university will create favorable conditions for NCB’s staff to pursue further education and enhance their qualifications at higher levels. This initiative aims to develop high-quality human resources that meet the banking industry's practical needs while contributing positively to the long-term sustainable growth of both institutions.
