According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Open University is honored to be one of only nine Vietnamese universities and among 2,092 higher education institutions worldwide featured in this prestigious ranking.
Specifically, the university is ranked in the 801+ band for the Business and Economics subject area. This achievement marks an important milestone, affirming the quality of training and research in this field and serving as a testament to the continuous efforts of the university’s faculty, staff, and students, as well as its investment in internationally accredited academic programs.
In addition, according to the THE Impact Rankings 2024, the university is one of 13 higher education institutions in Vietnam listed in the global impact ranking. Furthermore, in THE World University Rankings (WUR) 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Open University is ranked 1,201–1,500 globally and 5th in Vietnam.
