– Manage, develop programs, teaching and learning plans and organize the training process of subjects according to assigned functions and other educational activities according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.
– Prepare necessary conditions to open training majors according to the majors of the faculty’s departments; manage training majors and students according to regulations.
– Operate and coordinate with relevant units to manage quality, content, teaching methods and assessment according to regulations.
– Organize, implement and plan to implement support work for teaching and assessment of subjects such as compiling subject outlines, textbooks, learning materials, online subjects…
– Organize to build test banks for subjects; coordinate with relevant units in organizing exams and grading some subjects managed by the Faculty.
– Implement the project of autonomy in teaching the subject of National Defense and Security Education according to regulations.
– Organize consultation, guidance, and answer questions from students related to studying the subjects of the Faculty.
– Manage departments, officials, and lecturers as assigned by the Principal. Based on the development orientation of the Faculty, coordinate with units in the school to advise the Principal on policies related to lecturers in the Faculty to carry out recruitment, attract talents, and develop the Faculty’s teaching staff.
– Propose to send officers, lecturers, and employees of the Faculty for training and fostering to improve their qualifications and professional skills.
– Organize and support activities to develop scientific research activities in lecturers such as: organizing scientific seminars, lecturers writing articles for domestic and international journals, conducting scientific research topics at the school or state level….
– Organize work assignment, summarize and evaluate officials, lecturers, and staff in the Faculty annually according to the regulations of the School.
– Carry out the unit’s quality assurance work, provide the required content of the faculties on the subjects under the responsibility of the Faculty to serve the work of certifying training programs and training facilities.
– Assign and invite lecturers, monitor the implementation of teaching plans for each session and school year. Coordinate with related units to implement teaching contracts, pay teaching fees, invigilate, grade exams… according to the school’s regulations and the Ministry of Education and Training. Advise on investment proposals, rent of grounds, facilities and equipment for teaching specific subjects.
– Carry out administrative and general work according to regulations.
