New Master’s graduate, Doan Thi My Phuong honorably shared: “The most valuable thing we gained after this learning journey is not only knowledge from the classroom, but also practical experiences, lessons from teammates, from work, and from the challenges each person has overcome. We have gone through many stages together – sometimes pauses to reflect, sometimes transformations to grow. These experiences have helped us discover our capabilities, recognize new values, and open up many development opportunities in the future. I believe that after this journey, each of us is more steadfast, more confident – strong enough to conquer bigger goals ahead. Most importantly, we understand who we are, who we want to become, and what we will contribute to the community, to society. And today, we stand here to mark an important milestone for ourselves, as well as to inspire future generations”.

Following that, New Master’s graduate Luke Robert Keller shared: “Working in education, I am always inspired to witness the growth of others. For the past two years, that has happened every day in this classroom – where those who were once timid have become confident, creative, and spread positive energy. The program creates this transformation through a balance of global vision and an understanding of Vietnamese realities. Almost every topic is viewed from two perspectives – international and local, which is especially necessary in the context of rapidly developing AI technology. More than knowledge, we are equipped with the mindset, tools, and confidence to adapt in a continuously changing world”.

30 Years of Training High-Quality Human Resources for the Country

Starting with a common major in Management, the Vietnam–Belgium joint postgraduate training program has continuously improved to suit the needs of businesses and the domestic market. Specifically, the program has added several specialized majors, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for society. The most prominent among these are Business Administration and Marketing & Communication Management. Besides in-depth foundational knowledge, the Vietnam–Belgium postgraduate program always emphasizes practicality and application, aiming to promote active research, team management skills, and problem-solving abilities for business challenges among learners.

The entire course study plan is implemented through learning support systems such as the SBS e-platform, Google Calendar, and the Ho Chi Minh City Open University website. In addition, the teaching assistant review system is always ready to support learners when needed. The academic affairs department regularly monitors teaching and learning activities using the e-platform system, email, etc., to communicate, provide information, make announcements, answer related questions, and efficiently, quickly, and promptly deliver documents. Activities to connect students, alumni, and businesses are also regularly organized in various forms, from business discussions, specialized workshops to sports activities.

Over 30 years of organizing postgraduate training programs and specialized courses in Vietnam, the Vietnam–Belgium joint program has trained nearly 4,000 alumni and students across Vietnam. Graduates of the Vietnam–Belgium postgraduate program currently hold mid- to high-level management positions and are business owners in various-sized enterprises in Vietnam.
