On January 10 and 11, 2025, at Hall 602, 97 Vo Van Tan Campus, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City Open University organized the Third Graduation Ceremony of 2024 for 551 new graduates, including bachelor and engineering degree holders from the following faculties: School Of Advanced Studies, Biotechnology, Construction, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Foreign Languages, Sociology – Social Work – Southeast Asian Studies, Information Technology, Law, Accounting – Auditing, and Economics & Public Management. 

The ceremony was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – President, Dr. Le Xuan Truong – Vice President, along with faculty leaders, lecturers, and the proud parents and families of the new graduates.

During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – President of the University, expressed his pride:

“We are incredibly proud to witness you reach this important milestone in your life journey. Your parents are also filled with pride as they see their beloved children mature and prepare to step into a future full of challenges but also immense glory. Keep your courage and passion alive, seize opportunities, take control of your destiny, and work toward success. Your resilience is not only a personal achievement but also a contribution to the university’s success over the past four years. I hope you will continue to grow and excel in the years ahead."

In an atmosphere full of emotion, Nguyen Ngoc Vu Thuy from the Faculty of Law shared: "We are deeply proud to wear this graduation gown, a symbol of our tireless efforts throughout this journey. To achieve this success, we sincerely thank our university and teachers-those who have dedicated themselves to providing us with knowledge, inspiration, and guidance for our future. Your dedication will always be a guiding light for us in the roads ahead. From the bottom of my heart, I also extend my deepest gratitude to our families and loved ones, who have been a strong support system and a great source of motivation, making this day possible for us. Lastly, let’s appreciate ourselves-each and every one of us-who have worked hard to create such a brilliant and unforgettable youth under this beloved university’s roof."

Among the graduates, 29 students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements:

01 student was awarded the title of “Valedictorian of the Entire Course”,

06 students received the “Excellent Academic Achievement” award,

08 students received the “Outstanding Academic Achievement” award,

13 students graduated ahead of schedule,

01 student was recognized for “Outstanding Thesis Defense”
