To create a bridge for learners and Japanese businesses to meet, exchange, and seek cooperation opportunities, on November 9-10, 2024, at 97 Vo Van Tan Campus, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City Open University cooperated with 22 Japanese businesses to organize the "4th Japan Job Connection Fair in 2024".

The event was attended by Ms. Yumioka Haruna - Consul General of the Japanese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Le Xuan Truong - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, leaders of faculties and units of the University, along with 22 representatives from businesses and a large number of learners interested in the event.

Overview of the event

The fair attracted 22 Japanese businesses such as Techno Pro, Katsura Vietnam, Tagger Travel, DataX, Nippon Express, SUGINO, and Vietnam Camcom, etc. offering many positions and job opportunities at Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam and in Japan. The job positions are in various fields including Foreign Languages, Information Technology, Construction, Technology Engineering, Transportation,etc.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Le Xuan Truong - Vice President stated: "The University's training goal is to continue to enhance the quality of education of training quality maintaining its reputation as a reliable provider of place in providing high-quality human resources for society and strengthen cooperation with Japanese organizations and companies to play a bridging role between the two countries. Over the years, our University has been very honored and fortunate to receive support from Japanese businesses which have created excellent job opportunities for learners, especially creating conditions for University learners to intern in Japan. On the occasion of this Job Fair, the University always hopes that Japanese businesses will continue to support the University in training and nurturing talented Vietnamese personnel."
